LIPbox - The Fabulous Five

Five lips from the FOTOsculptures. Endless possibilities.

LIPbox transforms the characteristic lip motifs of the FOTOsculptures Amuse-Bouche into a multiple artwork situated between image, object and play. The elements can be freely arranged on a magnetic board. Each new arrangement creates a different composition, a new relationship and a new expression.

With the two additional magnetic bases, the lips can be detached from the wall and displayed as small FOTOsculptures in space. At times the work appears as an image, at times as an object, at times as an installation. The boundaries between two-dimensional composition and three-dimensional sculpture remain intentionally open.

Personal paper or textiles can be used as backgrounds. Colours, contrasts and moods can be redefined again and again. Personal messages, thoughts or small stories may also become part of the installation.

LIPbox invites you to become a gallerist, curator or scenographer. The elements can be rearranged, recombined and repositioned, allowing each constellation to reveal a new perspective and making the creative process directly tangible.
